Kerrock, Corian© and Avonite are versatile and solid surface materials with many commercial and residential applications. These surfaces can be used in kitchens, bathrooms, in the public buildings such as hospitals, restaurants, bars, beauty salons etc. Kerrock, Corian© and Avonite are made of natural minerals and high-performance acrylic – a combination that gives it a number of advantages over other materials. They are non-porous, making it resistant to stains and bacteria. Being solid, with colour running all the way through, there is no coating or layering to peel, wear away, chip or scorch, making them extremely durable and easy to clean. Kerrock, Corian© and Avonite can be carved, sanded and polished to create a variety of shapes and finishes. It can also be thermoformed or shaped using heat. This workability enables Corian® to form elegant rounded shapes like welcoming reception desks or softly curved washbasins, and to create stunning decorative effects. Wide color spectrum includes vanilla, aquamarine, white, pastels and also dark tones. The most common finish is matte, but high-gloss finishes are also available, but not recommended as they show off imperfections on work surface. It might be acceptable on a coffee table or on something that gets less use than a kitchen worktop. There is several sink options in a variety. The advantage of the sinks over other types is that it seals perfectly with the worktop. No grout or silicon to worry about.
